Education Chuck wants to protect rural schools from consolidation, boost funding for small schools and put an end to the unfunded mandates handed down from  the Legislature to our school districts year after year.  Chuck will put his years of experience as a schoolteacher and administrator to work for you at the State Capitol. Saving Our Rural Communities As a Cherokee Councilor, Chuck brought hundreds of thousands of dollars to the area.  He built roads, boosted funding for our schools and brought good health care to small towns.  As your State Representative, Chuck can do even more.  Chuck will fight to bring our rural communities more money for economic development and level the playing field between the big cities and our small towns. Economic Development We know that one of the most important ways to develop our economy is to invest in roads and bridges.  As a Cherokee Councilor, Chuck worked for over a decade building partnerships between different governments to repair roads and bridges, bringing hundreds of thousands of dollars to the district.  As your State Representative, Chuck can do even more. Health Care Chuck believes Oklahomans deserve the best and most affordable health care.  Chuck will fight to ensure that Oklahomans have access to safe and affordable prescription drugs from Canada.  Chuck will fight to give rural communities their fair share of state resources for expanding health insurance coverage and access to ambulance services."
