Hoskin, Family & Friends Participate in Rodeo Parade
Vinita, OK (Aug. 23,
2006)- In what has become an
annual tradition for him and his family, Democratic House District 6
Candidate Chuck Hoskin was part of the 2006 Will Rogers Rodeo Parade in
Vinita.
"For many years, we've
either participated in the parade or helped others get their floats
together," said Hoskin. "I've been going to the parade and the rodeo since
I was a kid."
Inspired by Will Rogers, the
parade and rodeo have been a part of life in Vinita since 1935. "This is
one of those special events in our town that makes us unique," Hoskin said.

Vinita, OK (July 25,
2006)-
Crediting his
positive campaign style, Democratic State House District 6 candidate Chuck
Hoskin claimed victory in the July 25 primary election.
“I am very pleased with the
results,” said Hoskin. “I think this shows that the voters in the district
approved of my past record of public service in this area and appreciated
the fact that I ran a positive campaign about ideas to improve our
community.”
Hoskin garnered 63% of the vote,
winning in all but two precincts. Hoskin's closest rival, Kenny Weast,
phoned Hoskin and pledged his full support for Hoskin in the general
election.
Hoskin thanked his family and
supporters for their hard work. “Truly,” Hoskin said, “there is no way on
earth I could have accomplished this without their help. We will win in
November only if they keep up the good work.”
