Dear Friend: My name is Chuck Hoskin and I am running for State Representative.  Because of term limits,  the people of District 6 will choose a new representative.  I am a lifelong resident of the district, a Veteran, an experienced educator.  You deserve a Representative that works as hard as you do.   If elected I will never forget who sent me to the Capitol or why I am there.  After months of hard work building our campaign, I am ready to take the most important step: I respectfully ask for your vote. An Historic Election For the first time in history, terms limits have created an open seat in District 6.  Our current Representative, Joe Eddins, is retiring after 12 years of serving our district.  We will send a new representative to Oklahoma City and District 6 has a long tradition of sending fair-minded public servants to the State Legislature.  I am the right person to continue this tradition, but I can only do so with your support. My Roots Run Deep We deserve a representative who knows this district.  I have lived, worked and worshipped in this district my entire life.  I had a rural and small town upbringing, the third generation of my family to call the area my home.  I chose to raise a family and build a career in the area because I believe in the values of my community. The Experience to Lead I have reached a point in my life where I have gained decades of experience working and raising a family and have the energy to help lead our district, and our state, to a brighter future.  I volunteered for service in the U.S. Navy.  I worked my way through college as an Ironworker and a Letter Carrier while helping raise two wonderful children.  I have years of experience in public education, working both as a teacher and a school administrator.  I am an experienced Cherokee Nation legislator who has worked with local, state and federal leaders to improve education, healthcare, housing and roads in our area.  I am ready to put my experience to work for you as your State Representative. Running for the Right Reasons: Putting People First I want to serve you in the State Legislature because I truly believe I can make a difference.  Oklahoma needs leaders who will approach issues with an open mind and conduct the people’s business with integrity.  We need leaders who will work together to build a first class education system, bring quality jobs to the area and make health care more affordable.  I believe that the people of District 6 deserve a State Representative who works as hard as they do.  I am that leader.  I respectfully ask for your vote on November 7th.
